Rod Edens graduated with a Bachelor Degree in finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1989. He worked with Comerica Bank's Commercial Group in Austin for over 6 years as a Senior Vice President. Before Comerica, he served 7 years as a Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank's Commercial Group in Austin. As a long time Business Development Officer, Rod has closed numerous relationships in Commercial Banking and Commercial Real Estate.

Jason Pitts has spent most of his professional career in banking. With over 10 years of experience his skills range from Business Development, Lending and Treasure Management. He spent several years in the mortgage world then moved into commercial lending with Colonial Bank. When Colonial was purchased by BB&T Jason moved into Treasury Management where he managed a large deposit portfolio and continued loan origination which covered the state of Texas. Jason graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with a degree in Marketing. Jason joined Crocket National Bank in November of 2011.

Laura Kane spent the last 6 years as a Vice President in Business Banking with Comerica Bank's business banking group and the prior 7 years with Wells Fargo's Middle Market department in Austin. Her banking experience has spanned from servicing complex treasury management clients to financing commercial real estate and construction projects. She graduated from Tulane University in 1998 with a degree in Finance and Spanish. Laura joined Crockett National Bank in December 2011.

Vanessa Burkhalter graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Finance and received her MBA in General Business from Texas Tech University in 2004. She worked with Comerica Bank's Commercial Real Estate group in Houston and Citibank's Commercial Lending Department in Bryan/College Station. She has been with Crockett National Bank since 2007 and obtained her CCIM designation in April 2010. Vanessa's focus is interim and permanent financing for both Mortgage and Commercial Real Estate.
Jamie Applewhite, Credit Analyst
Jamie Applewhite returned to Crockett National Bank in 2009 after earning his MBA from Texas A&M University's Mays Business School. His previous background was in agriculture/soil science where he worked as a research assistant for Texas Agrilife Research.
