  • Conduct your automated banking in a public, well-lighted location that is free of shrubbery and decorative partitions or dividers.
  • Maintain an awareness of your surroundings throughout the entire transaction. Be aware of:
  1. Anyone trying to help you with an ATM transaction.
  2. Anyone trying to look over your shoulder as you enter your PIN.
  3. Anyone sitting in a parked car nearby.
  • Prevent others from seeing you enter your PIN by using your body to shield their view.
  • Don’t lend your ATM card to anyone.
  • Don’t leave your card at the ATM. Do not leave any documents at a night deposit facility.
  • Always memorize your PIN; never write it on the back of your card. Do not re-enter your PIN if the ATM eats your card, please contact a Bank representative.
  • Never count your cash at the ATM or in public. Wait until you are in your car or another secure place.
  • When using a drive-up ATM, keep your engine running, your doors locked and leave enough room to maneuver between your car and the one ahead of you in the drive-up line.
  • Never leave an ATM receipt near an unmanned ATM.
  • Closely monitor your bank statements, as well as your balances, and compare ATM receipts against your monthly statement. Immediately report any problems or discrepancies to a Bank representative.
  • If you unfortunately involved in any kind of confrontation with an assailant who demands your money, COMPLY.
  • If you lose your ATM card or if it is stolen, promptly notify us. You should consult the other disclosures you have received about electronic fund transfers for additional information about what to do if your card is lost or stolen.

We want the ATM and night deposit facility to be safe and convenient for you. Therefore, please tell us if you know of any problem with a facility. For instance, let us know if a light is not working or there is any damage to a facility. Please report any suspicious activity or crimes to both the operator of the facility and the local law enforcement officials immediately.
